It was the tiniest kitchen you have ever seen. It was old and super outdated. Just kind of old and kind of gross. We really liked Joey’s style. He just felt like an excellent fit to remodel our kitchen. We could see he would be really good at working with us. At the time, I think I had 8 dogs at my house, so that was a big concern of mine. Everyone he brought in would be dog friendly and aware of latching gates. He just seemed like he ran a pretty good family company. I absolutely loved everyone who came into my home. There were a few of Joey’s employees who, towards the end of it all, they felt like family. Everyone was really cool. Really accommodating to me as well. There were some stipulations I had. Everyone really understood my dogs. I had foster puppies at the time. It can be overwhelming and a nuisance, but everyone was great. Our constant work order changes, like doubling the size of our doorway and window. Every time we would change something, it didn’t seem like it held anyone up. Everyone seemed pretty on board… like, ok. That’s what we’ll do! Everyone was super accommodating. Really patient. Easy to communicate with. Yesssss. I love it. It’s amazing. I literally have cooked every night since it was done. Perfect timing… if you have to stay home and cook… it’s an ideal time for my kitchen to be done. It makes waiting a lot easier. I want to cook. I want to be there. The dining room is right off the kitchen. The large doorway they added makes you feel like more of an open space. A little bit more inviting. It’s amazing. I stand there; I can’t believe it’s my kitchen. OMG, my dogs are the saddest. Literally, my dogs are devastated. Two of them sit outside, waiting for people to arrive and get to work. They thought you guys were moving in. They’re like, where’s our friends.
