Today, we’re excited to share a complete transformation of a pool deck and patio area that turned a dated backyard into a luxurious outdoor retreat. Our latest project involved a comprehensive overhaul of an entire pool deck and upper deck area. The goal was to modernize the space, enhance functionality, and elevate the aesthetic appeal to create an inviting outdoor living environment.
Demolition and Clearing: The renovation kicked off with the demolition of the existing structures. We removed all the old concrete and salty tiles from the pool deck and completely cleared the upper deck and walkway. This phase was crucial to prepare the site for the stunning transformations to follow.
New Installations and Upgrades:
- Pool Area: We installed a brand-new pool equipped with modern plumbing and efficient skimmers. Around the pool, new tile and plaster work, along with poured-in-place coping, provide a sleek and durable finish.
- Outdoor Kitchen: Essential to outdoor entertainment, we installed new plumbing for water and gas supply and laid out new drainage and electrical systems to support all kitchen appliances and lighting.
- Electrical Enhancements: From the pool block wall lights to the covered patio, new electrical wiring was installed to ensure every area was well-lit and functional.
- Concrete and Masonry Work: Over 65 yards of sand concrete finish were poured for the pool decking, accompanied by the construction of more than 100 feet of new retaining walls and the addition of stucco and stack stone for an elegant touch.
Framing and Carpentry: Our team expertly framed a new detached covered patio and several decks, including one that offers a breathtaking view. The addition of a tongue and groove ceiling and decorative rope detailing on patio posts infused a sense of luxury and attention to detail.
Finishing Touches: The project concluded with the installation of recessed can lights, fans, and heaters, making the patio area perfect for year-round enjoyment. New glass panel barriers were also installed to enhance safety without obstructing scenic views.
