He was really good at communicating. I would send a text. I don’t know if there was ever a time that it went longer than 5 minutes that I didn’t get a text back. I always had the feeling that everybody was on the same page.

I felt he would be super flexible with things because he was like, Yeah, if you pick somebody else to do the flooring, great. You know, you need to pick these things now, but you don’t need to pick these things now. You know, we can do things on a grand scale, or we can do things on a budget. He was flexible in just that first meeting with us. The communication was excellent. Any time we had a question or weren’t sure about something, Joey responded almost instantly. When things were more significant, like something different, like the bar cut out, the tile we wanted on the wall in the bathroom, or how we wanted that space. He was like really excited about the challenge. He’s like, Yeah, let’s do it.

We’re very, very happy with you know, he always encouraged us to any time we had any questions, just feel free to give him a call or text him, you know? And so just simple questions like what happens, you know, it’s step by step to make, okay, the demolition is done. And he was always able and ready and willing to explain to us you know, the process.

Gold Coast Solutions is an appropriate name because there was a solution for every little issue we had or came up with one. It’s cool because I don’t know how many companies would be willing to do some of the things we did or go along with some of my ideas. He’s been an absolute pleasure to work with. The communication was excellent. Always on top of it. The little question I had, I was able to reach him. That’s a big deal. When something is happening in your house, they’re working on it, and you have a question or concern, and you can reach the boss immediately- that’s just really helpful.

A Beloved Two-Toned Kitchen
That’s the thing about Joey. I don’t think he knows the word no or the answer is no. He figured out a way, and for the most part, everything was. Oh, yea, we can do that. Oh, yea, we can figure that out.The day I returned from the hospital, I sat in our little dining area and looked at the kitchen. I told Margie you know, I just feel Joy looking at this kitchen as opposed to, you know, it wasn’t done, and I came home. I just make me feel so happy. It just brings joy to me to look at this kitchen and have this space. It was therapeutic, believe it or not!

Oh my gosh. I love it. Loving it is an understatement. My husband, Darren, and I looked around. Individually we told each other, There isn’t anything that was done that we said … “Ah. I wish we wouldn’t have done that.” or one thing we said, “I wish you would have done differently.” Not one thing. Everything was what we imagined I mean, when I think of custom Cabinetry. If I saw it on Pinterest and showed it to you. It happened! Even with the Pantry. It happens with our X over the bar for wine, It is really the epitome of the customer coming first.
